Wire bonding is one of the oldest failure points in LED displays. Pixon skips it entirely. By flipping the chip directly onto the board, you get a cleaner electrical path, stronger heat transfer, and far fewer solder connections that can fail over time. Common-Cathode + DC-DC Driving
Pixon runs on a 3.8V + 2.8V common-cathode architecture combined with DC-DC conversion. That combination cuts heat output by 40% compared to conventional driving methods, which means no fans, no added cooling hardware, and lower operating costs from day one.
