One Cabinet, One Sign Face
Each Genesis II cabinet is a complete sign face. Power supply, signal distribution, and structure are all contained within a single aluminum enclosure. There's no separate back-end box to wire up and no complicated multi-component setup to manage. Mount the cabinet, connect it, and it runs. The same process applies whether it's a single pylon sign or a large billboard.
Built From the Right Components
Every Genesis II module uses gold wire bonding LEDs as standard, not as an upgrade. Gold wire bonds hold up better over time, which matters for a display running outdoors around the clock. The PCBs are 1.6 mm thick with four copper layers and silver-containing solder. The module mask is made from high-quality GE plastics. Redundant power and signal connectors are integrated into each module, and a polyurethane gasket seals the cabinet against the elements. Each piece was chosen for long-term reliability, not cost-cutting.
Every Module Comes Out From the Front
Every Genesis II module has an integrated handle and a safety cable. Modules pull from the front in around 20 seconds with no tools and no special procedure. For signs mounted on walls, poles, or in locations where getting around the back isn't practical, front access keeps service fast and straightforward. Backup power and signal ports are also integrated, so troubleshooting has a direct path rather than a guessing game.
Bright in Any Condition
Standard configurations deliver 6,500 nits. For locations where sunlight is a constant challenge, an ultra-high brightness option reaches 10,000 nits, available on 4mm pixel pitch and above. Each module also features a matte black mask and an extended louver design that physically blocks direct sunlight from hitting the LEDs. The louver on Genesis II runs longer than a traditional design, which keeps contrast strong and the image readable even in the middle of a clear afternoon.
Heat Is Managed at the Source
Genesis II runs on common cathode technology, which reduces energy consumption by 40% and lowers heat generation by 60% compared to conventional designs. Power supplies operate at over 90% efficiency and are built without their own cooling fans, which means they don't draw in moisture, dust, salt air, or minerals that would corrode internal components over time. When cabinet temperatures climb, high-RPM thermostatically controlled fans automatically activate at 40u00b0C and step back down at 35u00b0C, all managed by the built-in smart control system. The goal is to generate as little heat as possible in the first place and handle what remains efficiently.
Optional Remote Monitoring, Down to the Diode
For operators who want deeper visibility, Genesis II supports an optional cloud-based monitoring and diagnostics system. It tracks the real-time status of power supplies, cooling fans, LED modules, and individual diodes. Alerts come through automatically, and configuration files can be uploaded remotely. It's cloud-based, centralized, and available as an add-on, not something that gets bundled in whether you need it or not.
